We have a vacancy for an Associate Assistant Headteacher (Communications) to join our extended leadership team at Aureus School. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the leadership and development of our school.
Your opportunity
To be the strategic lead for the communications Department (English, Literacy and MFL), working with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in formulating the aims and objectives of the school, establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved, managing staff and resources, in order to achieve them and monitoring progress towards them.
As an experienced educator, you will work collaboratively as part of the Extended Leadership Team in supporting the school to achieve its operational and strategic aims to drive it forward on its rapid improvement journey, ensuring our students have access to high-quality teaching and learning opportunities. The Associate Assistant Headteacher plays a pivotal role in empowering students to succeed and make a positive impact in our community.

Working as part of the Extended Leadership Team you will be an excellent practitioner with a proven track record of driving forward change, leading and inspiring people to deliver to a high standard. With strong leadership skills, you will demonstrate resilience, tenacity and integrity combined with a focus on continuous improvement to secure positive outcomes for students and the school community.
